Sounds like the carb might be running out of gas. Might have to raise the float level. |

| I felt the carb was set right. When cranking over the engine I could see the sediment bowl fill full of fuel quickly so I knew it was getting gas to the carb. I thought about blowing out the fuel line from the fuel pump back to the tank incase there was an intermintit blockage. Looking at I felt the carb was set right. Looking at where the line in connected to the tank I discovered a shut off valve. This valve is not visible unless you put your head down under the machine. I turned the valve to see what position it was in and discovered it was almost closed. where the line in connected to the tank I discovered a shut off valve. This valve would have had to have vibrated closed over the years until it got too closed. I forgot there was a valve down there. I had the entire machine apart 20 years ago. Runs again like a million bucks. |

| That was what I thought also. It is set like the book says. With the float installed turn that half of the carb upside down and the closest part of the float should be 1/4 inch above the gasket. I might just go a little closer and see if that helps. Thanks though |
