JD 1 1/2 hp question

Have a Type E now, I think the oil filler is on the igniter side ahead of the gas filler, how do you know when there is enough oil. If level should it come out. Thanks. Just getting to know it.

I can't help you, offhand, but do you realize reprints of the manual are readily available and CHEAP?

Out of the operators manual: "Lubrication. Remove oil-filler plug. Pour in good grade engine oil until it runs out oil-filler hole. This is correct level."
