Old Coleman Generator/BS oil leak

Hello, I have just resurrected an old Coleman generator with a Briggs 10HP engine (19G412-1180 E2). After getting it running, I noticed that after I shut it down it would drip oil from the front of the engine. It appears that the oil is coming from behind the flywheel. I suspect that it is a bad front seal. Has anyone changed this seal and how much of a job is it to do so? Thanks in advance.

Getting the seal out will be the hardest problem. I have welded a sheet metal screw to a piece of shafting and a large nut on the other end. Drill a small hole in the seal. Put a large socket over the shafting and screw the sheet metal screw into the hole in the seal. Then use the socket as a slide hammer to remove the old seal. Sometimes works, sometimes does not.
