1 1/2 HP Fairbanks Morse

My son is giving me an old 1 1/2 HP F-M engine for Father's Day. I haven't finished restoring my Farmall A yet!!

This engine has a radiator attached to it for cooling. It also has a battery and coil, but no magneto.

I don't remember seeing one with a radiator or a battery. Any information on that out there?

I'm still searching. Haven't found one that looks like this one yet. The pics I have are on my other computer and I'm not home. I'll see if I can get them online tonight.

Well, that looks like the picture he sent me. I don't have the engine
yet. Maybe it's the same one!!! Where is this one located? Does
anyone have any info on this engine beyond the fact that it is a Z?

I sure hope the radiator is good. I had to have the radiator on my
39 Farmall A recored and it cost me almost $500.00!!!

u got screwed- u can buy a new radiator for a farmall A for about 350.
