i am searching for a cylinder block from a vr4d.blocks have a 4.25 bore.if one of the cylinders is cracked or broken,it is ok.i will be only using half of it,to make a 1cyl engine.

I have 4 cylinder jugs for a V461D but they are only 3 1/4 bore x 4" stroke. All they cylinders on V460, V461 & V465 are separate by themselves not in pairs.

what my plan is,to cut 1 of the cykinders of,leaving as much of the intake port as possible,on the other one.use a billet aluminum cylinder head,and brazing up the open portion of the intake port,with a 2 bolt pad to mount a carberator to.then i plan on mating this jug to a wisconsin agnd crankcase,with around a 5 inch stroke,to make a large 1cylinder motor for my sons tractor.

Ok must be a tractor puller. V460 series cylinder wouldn't bore out much but does have separate cast aluminum heads but they are all fastened down by long studs into block and nuts on ends not bolts into the casting.
