I found a six cylinder RED SEAL power unit the other day, but the ID tag on the block was missing. Is there any other way to tell what size it is? I'm was hoping to put the engine into a tractor. See photo.

Yes the casting numbers will help. If it has a distributor up through the head its likely an f series. Differant size pistons can be put in the same blocks so the casting numbers are not fool pruff.
