What should I run on my engine?

I'm looking for some belt-driven implements to run on my engine should I take it to a show. I have a corn sheller. water pumps are one option. I don't want an ice-cream maker. I've seen some air compressors online, but I don't think I've seen any running on a 1.5hp at a show before, how about a small generator? Any ideas?

Hi fellow engine man. We go to rallies and see some great set ups, some absurd ones. If you ask the displayer why he will have a lagit answer. ask 20 spectator and get as many answers. In this game you use what makes you happy, and you are comfortable with. No matter what it is the answer is always the same. Have fun making YOUR display, goodluck and cheers Graeme Wardlaw Australia

Well, with the real hot weather we've been having, if you want folks to stop and talk for a bit, get an old squirrel cage furnace fan and set it up on your engine. It'll work the engine, but not too hard, and it sure is nice to have one blowing on you on a hot day. I use them in my shop extensively to keep it half way cool in the summer. If I remember, you have a JD 1.5 model E, right? I've got a few pics of a neat way to hook a fan up to your engine that won't compromise the engine, skids or trucks. And it can be taken off quickly and easily. I'm in the process of building one for myself even as we speak...
