I would loosen the oil pan drain plug to see if any water is present. If there's water I would drain the oil and replace the oil and filter. Take a flashlight and look in the gas tank for any rust, dirt or gummy residue from the old gas. It may need cleaning. Remove the distributor cap and clean the points with some 320 wet or dry until shiny. Fill the radiator with a 50/50 mix of antifreeze. Then check for leaks. Once you have the new battery installed and with the ignition switch in the on position & the points open take a volt meter or test lite and check for battery voltage on both small terminals on the coil. If there's voltage here put fresh gas in the fuel tank and see if it will start. Hal PS: I would also check those gear boxes for water. They may need to be drained and filled with new gear lube. I would also install a new set of sparkplugs. I would also replace the plug wires. Only replace one wire at a time so you don't mess up the firing order.
