We"ve opened up the project journals to all regular logged in YT users. The journals are to be used for your farm and tractor projects and provide a free home on the web to basically blog the processes involved.
You need to have posted on classic view recently to post a journal, if you use modern as I do, just do a test post with your username and password in the Test Forum, and that will log you back into classic.
You"ll see a "Create Journal" appear if you are logged in, and then you can document your projects (farm and tractor). This can be used as a photo library too for farm and tractor photos. Note how souNdguy has created one journal just so he can put diagrams and photos to support his posts. This is another good use of the journals. Once you have a photo there, it"s easy to link the URL to your post when discussing a part or a procedure.
Please remember that these journals may not be used for any talk or opinions that violate site policy. If such a journal is entered, we will put the username on the ban list and no additional journals can then be entered for that username.
If you enable people to comment on your journals, you must police that yourself and delete any replies that violate site policy, are rude, or just for whatever reason inappropriate. Since you will be able to delete others comments, we expect you to maintain as strict or stricter guidelines concerning site policy on what comments people are permitted to make. If you can"t check your journals regularly, we suggest keeping comments disabled.
If you put in journal entries and photos, please feel free to post the URL periodically in the appropriate forum, telling people of the updates.
Even if comments are enabled, only logged in YT users may comment. There is intentionally no guest capability.
I would like to add again thanks to Dave.Diehl and souNdguy for shaking down this application.
