To get it to look right during Daylight Savings Time, go to your profile and set the timezone one hour earlier than it really should be. You are either GMT-6 or GMT-7 depending on which part of texas you are in. To force the modern view to DST, you'd subtract one from that. Like for me, I'm supposed to be in GMT-8, but during DST, I have to set it to GMT-7 to make the dates appear correctly.
The actual posts go in with system time so they have the right time on them, it's just the presentation you see that is wrong since the forum software doesn't honor DST.
