YT support.......my computer barfed from electrical surges the other day. Had to taker to "horse-spittle" where they thru out some memory chips and reloaded the M/S XP O/S and browsers: IE, Chrome, Firefox. Everytime I "log-on" to answer a post in classic, I haffta re-type my handle Dell (WA) and then classic will remember until I "log-out". I "log-in" and "log-out" several times a day. Ittza 'notta' biggie, just didn't used to have to do it. Classic remembers my password, notta problem there. .......TNX, Dell (WA) |

| It sounds like when you reinstalled the browser, you must have upped your privacy option settings. It's apparently cleaning cookies out after every session. Between security software and several browsers, I won't hazard a guess on which one is the culprit, but something is deleting your cookies on a session by session basis. If it does it on multiple browsers, it's probably your security software, but if it just does it on one, look for privacy settings (may also be something like "private browsing") of that browser. They are supposed make it so when you leave the computer, there is no record of where you went, but they tend to cause more trouble than good. |
