the registration of the user name is a farce at the least, in that years ago in the beginning of the site when you folks started the registration I had reserved and registered the user name JD-Tractor and it never was used by anyone else but after awhile you claimed it was someone else so I posted anonymously as (was jd tractor) and now I can't even do that without I say to you just stuff it if that's the best you can do

The original password for JD-Tractor was set to the same thing as the username. Spammers have programs to crack forum passwords of users in hopes of using them for spam. They can do that when the password is set that way. I've mentioned this several times. The same thing happened to the next username. Since your email was on it, we could have reset it for you to something they couldn't guess, had you contacted us.
A password on an internet site must be set to something other than the username or it will be nearly immediately compromised nowadays.
