Why does apostrophe show up at quote mark in Classic?

Hello YT support,

Why does an apostrophe show up as a quote mark in Classic view? It looks fine while one is typing a reply - but when you preview your message, it turns to a qhote mark. In various postings, I have seen others mention that this also happens to them.

In order to fix it, one has to "return to form" and change it from a quote back into an apostrophe... then it will stay.

It is a small thing, but if you can fix it - that would be nice. Thanks for your time.

Thanks for that Tim. I just did some tests and am seeing why I set it aside sometime back. I can't get it to fail, but I haven't tried it after logging out.

It's a long story as to why it's that way, but I have been meaning to fix that for a long time. I will take a look at it today.
Your observation about the "return to form" simplifies finding where it happens. Thanks for that.

I've had that problem intermittently over the years, and it's usually tied to not being logged in. Don't know why, but if, for instance, I'm on a new-to-me computer and check YT I'll have the problem.

It is not a typo either (though I managed one in my subject line... nice, huh?). Thanks again!
