I've seen this myself to a few sites, it will just come up and say "You are not connected to the internet", but I'm using a Mac with the latest OS, and I read they have a bug with some wireless connections in the new release.
I hadn't heard of that sort of problem with other windows or linux. I'll send a message to the ISP and see if there is anyway I can get them to test through to us. If I can find something, I'll report it to CenturyLink and they can usually get something done. Honestly though, usually I don't hear back when I contact companies like that, it works better coming from the customer.
Photos would be worse because it's more time transmitting, just make the file size as small as possible and if there is a glitch, it will most likely slip between it. You can usually get a photo down to 15-35K.

I am doing nothing different, than I have done here on YT since I have been here. I slide my SD camera chip onto my laptop, go to APTs, hit upload photo, locate and select photo and hit upload button. nothing appears for sometimes minutes in the thumbnail, no continue, and then the "can not display web page" appears, and sugests that I relog carefully into YT, thus all that I typed into my comentary is gone. Not happy with that, as my comentary will remain and I can submit it without the accompanying pics, that I want to post, makeing me believe that I am solidly linked to YT. Gerrrrrrr.

Just did a test here and at least on modern view, the photo went almost instantaneously. If you are taking them direct from your camera card, I would check what it's producing in file size, they may be over the maximum. The limit is 300K but I suspect getting up to that size may be a problem sometimes. Cameras often produce 1mb or more. That would account for it taking a long time and often not working.
The photo of my HD-7W is 28k.
