Yes a couple of people have mentioned a problem like this. One of them had the problem go on for a month or so until he had a power outage and it reset his modem, then the problem went away. Last week, someone else reported something similar too, I'm not sure what the problem was, or what the resolution is.

We have four consumer networks that we use to access the site, I can't seem to reproduce this sort of problem on any of them.

There is software called "internet accelerators" that can cause things like this to occur. They are a non-standard way of compressing network traffic that conflicts with standard methods. Some ISPs give you such programs to put on your PC as if a benefit, if you have anything like that, disable it. We use standard compression to make the site faster for most people, the two will conflict. This is probably not it.

A standard android . Samsung tablet 10.1 galaxy 2. Was OK, now isn't. Wife's and mine, on all other sites we use, don't have this problem. Surprising that loading to the forum is almost instantaneous but the initial navigating, when connected, is a pain. Once it starts working, it works as expected - quite fast, so is a mystery to me.

Thanks for the reply. At least I know I am not alone with this problem.
