Heres a tip for you . Got a trailer bearings kit at the hardware store . 3 of the four were fine . But the third wheel I did . Had the inner bearing installed. Went to put the outer in . Thought I some rust contamination from my nitrile gloves on the roller, ( how did I do that ,I got clean gloves for grease packing ). So I washed it out with brake clean. The brown straw color of heat treatment was still visible in visible spots on many rollers . These rollers werent finished for some processing reason . So I took the bearing bearing back to the store and got another bearing which was correct.
I could have missed this and installed it.
Advice give the taper rollers and races a look over beforehand.
