Anybody got a special way of getting the 3 little brass pins out of the front of an F162 Continental flathead block to replace them? Or is it just file them flat, and carefully drill them out. They don't appear to be through holes. There's not much left of mine. Steve

I took my own advice. I sheared them off with a sharp cold chisel, and drilled them down to just a thin shell left in the hole. Then an easy out loosened them enough to pull out with a needle-nosed pliars. I didn't have the right diameter brass pin, so I chucked up some rod I did have and carefully turned it down to a press fit. The thrust washer fits like a charm now. steve
