TO35 hood

Redoing my TO35. This model has the sideways flip open hood with 2 button release/latches. It had a dent near middle of hood right next to center crease that is factory made running entire length of lid. Got it out using dolly and body type hammer. Problem is metal around dent expanded and now one end of lid is about 1/2 higher than the other. Any suggestions on straitening the flip open lid

I am a hack at body work. I ran into a few situations where I needed to shrink a small area. I tried heat shrinking as in the video but I didn't have much luck. Then I bought a metal shrinking dolly and had better luck. When watching the heat shrinking video you can see just off to the side of where he is working, some areas with a pattern of dimples made by a tool with many little points 1/8 inch apart. This is where he used a metal shrinking dolly.
