Hi all: My husband is the mechanic here,, i am only a typist.. My husband recently purchased a really really old wood chipper.. it has what we believe to be a ford 8n or 9n tractor motor,, the only numbers we are able to find are on the block.. CONN 6015 J on distributer side of block and FJ871-1 and 01751 on bottom of block on the manifold side.. and it does have a marvel schebler updraft carbonator. The motor will start but not run,, My husband is a decent mechanic and thinks he can get this thing going but we need to know for certain what it is so we can get some specs We are looking for any info we can get as to how to more conclusively ID the motor, so that we can get info such as proper valve adjustments, torque, firing order etc. any help would be deeply appreciated.
