72' Case 580 b hydraulic pump?

Anyone have any tips or shared experience from replacing one of these, generally anything should or shouldn't do when replacing one?

From looking at it in my manual it makes
it sound very easy to remove but I find
that kind of hard to believe being where
it is located, under the radiator and
pretty much not visible without the
radiator out?

Our 580 super E is the same. I would replace the radiator hoses and fan belt too since you are into it that far

Hmmmm, the manual reads like there's no need to remove radiator?( Anyone know from experience if that's possible?)

After looking at it I may be able to
remove the large front plate that is out
in front of the hydraulic pump and pull it
straight out without removing the
radiator, sound right to anybody that's
done it?
