5000 series transmission fluid in crank casing.

Is it possible to get transmission fluid in the crank casing. It seems to oil level has increased with out adding anything. We had the oil analyzed and it seems to viscosity has increased as well. Has anyone herd of this or know where it could be coming from?

How can power steering fluid get in the crank casing?

Where is your power steering pump mounted? On the engine? How is it driven? By gears in the engine? If it is, and the pump shaft seal leaks, the power steering oil/fluid goes into the engine crankcase.
