i have a 806 IH diesel..fuel problem..no fuel out..I took the cap off the Rooster DBGF637 and the inside is pretty clean. Wanted to know if anyone has a exploded view of this pump. I also know i am not quallified to take this apart. any ideas?

Have two (2) 460 diesels with the same
issue, DB series pumps. Took them both off
and have them in for cleaning/repair as
needed. Very sticky biofeul issues, one
not too bad the other looks and feels like
it filled with Permatec form a gasket.
Tried different products to clean the one
without removing, but it was a no go, gave
in. Could not get the transfer pump to
operate, feul only at a trickle out of the
return. Maybe your not facing the same
issue, but it seems to be quite common.
I guess you should make certain that your
supply is good to the pump, ie, filters,
lines, sediment trap/bowl and shutoff.

When did engine last run? If it's been awhile several close fitting parts may be stuck inside and a complete tear down and cleaning is the only hope to get it working
again. HOPEFULLY, the head is not seized and drive shaft broken, I repaired/tested a JD 3010 pump last week for the same trouble.

Hello Tom welcome back! The first time I read your
post I went through it a little to quickly. I thought you
were asking if we could tell you if you had the ability to
take it apart and fix it. Especially since you only had 2
posts prior to this, I was working up quite a reply to
that. But I see just the opposite is true. I will attach the
exploded view from the CNHI online parts book. I do
not know how much you lurked here during your 12
year absence but Dieseltech is a legitimate rebuilder of
injection pumps. Many on here have shipped pumps to
him for rebuilds, he lives in Indiana. Always hear how
economical his prices are and how satisfied they are
with his work. Send him an email if you want pursue his
assistance with this. BTW, from the link you can access
all the parts diagrams for your tractor. At the upper left
click the description of your tractor to the right of the
..Home.. icon to view all the parts sections. If you
happen to have an International Wheatland model type
806 in the search and select it instead of the Farmall
model.

thank you for your reply. Question, fuel pump does not turn. I lined up the flywheel mark, but with the pump not turning, i cannot make sure the timing is correct. I do not know how the pump is connected to drive it. could the problem be there? Is it possible to take the cover off this end to view without disturbing anything else?
