I Need Dimensions For A DB885 Front Pivot Pin

I need to make a front axle pivot pin and both frame bushings. The current front bushing has seized to the pin and is loose in the frame. Can't see the condition of the rear. I'd like to have suitable material on hand before disassembling. I have a pretty good guess what size stock to get for the front bushing but can only assume the rear bushing is similar to the front. I can't reach enough of the pin to measure it. Like I said, I'd like to have material on hand before taking things apart.

(quoted from post at 10:25:42 01/31/23) Probably have better luck getting an answer on the
Case and David Brown section.

I seem to have cooties down there. I'll give it another go.

Scott, if your pin is anything like mine out of a Massey 245, they are hardened steel. It is likely that both bushings are the same size. Not much sense in engineering them to be different. steve

The front bushing has seized to trunnion pin - the bushing is very loose in the bore. The hole looks round (enough to be serviceable) but is very likely oversize. Doesn't really matter as no parts are available and will have to be made. There is a slim chance the pin will be reusable but I'm not holding my breath.

The bushings have different part numbers. They are certain to have the same I.D. but may vary as to O.D., length and lubrication provisions.
