Pretty much all of the rubber parts on my tractor are shot. AGCO didn't have much. I don't imagine that parts from a wrecker would be any better. What do you guys do?
 
If all else fails it's possible to fabricate a pattern out of wood or some other material to make a silicone mold. Then they make a rubber material you can mix and pour into the mold.
 
Thanks Stephen! Thats what I thought. That I'll have to try making those parts. I've never heard of the silicone process that you mentioned. Will have to check that out!!
 
McMaster Carr has some assorted rubber moldings and edge pieces.

Auto paint and body supply's have various shapes and sizes to sort through.

You can recast zinc and aluminum parts also using the right silicone for the mold.
 
What tractor, what parts? You have posted about a 555 in the past. There are aftermarket components available for some of the applications such as shifter boot. This one in the link does not list the 555 but in other listings it is shown as fitting the 555 and others shown.

He posted the tractor model a day before you asked, LOL.
 
So far the wish list would be:

1. Reflector gasket for rear lamp
2. Hour meter damper
3. Rubber bushings for seat shock absorber
4. Rubber bushings for seat pivot pin
5. Rubber blocks for radiator service door.
