Here's two ways of priming an oil pump in one photo, using a small block Chevy as an example.

Modify a clean new garden sprayer so it can be connected to the oil gauge port and put clean engine oil in it and pump it up, forcing oil through the oil galleries and back to the oil pump.

Also shown is a an engine-specific oil pump drive adapter to use an electric drill to drive the oil pump.

Good luck!

When I was rebuilding small block Chevy's a lot, I pulled a junk distributor apart, and chucked the shaft up in a drill, stuck it down the distributor hole and ran the oil pump for a while with the drill. Wore Out shows that in his pic. Would work with just about any engine, IF you can duplicate the distributor shaft, and IF you turn it the right direction with the drill. Put a gauge on the correct gauge port too, and you can tell if you've got everything right, before you even crank it up.

Borrowed Chevy distributor primer from my engine builder .

Need right angle drill to clear the firewall ,is best , I dont have one . Or the electric screw driver to spin it ,my next attempt. Get one from
summit or kegs .

Never had to on Fordson . No pump

Farmall s pre prime pump then installed half assembly lube and 30 brake in oil or stp and oil

Sometimes secrets are good, but when you are asking
for help or recommendations on a specific part of a
specific machine that information is best divulged. I did my due diligence by looking up your past post but nothing really stood out as to what type of machine you have other than having a fair number of post on the Ford board. I
would suppose if you do a web search all types of
helpful info on the subject will probably come up.

Well, the pump-up sprayer conversion to a pressurized oiler is about as universal as it can get!

As long as you can find fittings to adapt it to the oil gauge port you can prime/pre-oil most any pressure oiled engine with it!

Everything is lubed when it goes together and I pack
the oil pump with petroleum jelly. I set the points
and timing before I turn it over. It should start on
the second revolution
