Hello earworm welcome to YT! I will also go down the
road a bit with Scott.. You think I can perform open
heart surgery on your best friend?? Sort of an open
ended way to ask a question. I have no idea of your
abilities and you have no idea of mine. Yes, when the
engine was manufactured it was known that at some
point there would be a need to repair, replace, renew
or rebuild most all parts of it so this was given
consideration as part of the design. Also, yes there are
parts available to do this. For that gas engine the YT
parts store only has a limited amount of parts listed,
see link. There are other suppliers that will be able to
get all the parts needed to complete the task. Back to
the original question, can YOU do it? I have no way to
answer that.

Earworm, I hope I did not turn you away from the
forum. sorry I should have used a little more tact. My
reply was only meant to show you the need for
adequate information in a post on a forum like this.
Maybe a little more info on what type of mechanical
repair tasks you have already completed would help.

U just chewed my azz out last night about replying to newcomers , it appears yours
Here is a lot more smart azz than mine was. See its exactly as I told u about first time Posters. We never get proper info and people think we are god. And I can also tell just by a post what the person knows. My posts are just like reading a manual. I expect the person to know and have mechanical knowledge when asking for help. And the ones with lack of info have no reason to get offended.

You sure can rebuilt your G 159 Engine since this engine is wet sleeve and so a kit can replace worn piston sleeve and rings anytime. Good engine and good tractor Case .

Earworm, while you apparently meant to ask if the 159g is rebuildable, and many people would be able to translate your question, not everyone can.
