steel hydrulik line

(quoted from post at 18:50:56 11/29/22) my loader has a broken steel line, cant find replacement. Is it ok to replace with a copper line

No, it is not ok to replace it with copper, use steel tubing rated for the pressure or at least 2 wire hydraulic hose using proper fittings.

Depends on which line.

If a pressure line, it needs to be steel.

A return line you might get by, but it may break from vibration.

What's wrong with your line? Sometimes they can be taken off and brazed if it rubbed through, cut and spliced with a union if there is room. If you use a union, be sure it is for steel line, not a brass one.

Or replaced with a hydraulic hose if there is room.

Post a picture of that line. I dont see why u cant replace it. Most likely has to be made. U just cant go and order a loader line. Get the size of it and have it made. Or replace with a hyd. Hose. Copper is not for pressure , but it will work in a pinch. Depending on your output psi. And the copper line thickness.

They have steel tubing and the fitting you need. They have facilities across the nation. Just need accurate measurement OD & ID and type of fitting. You can bend it with a tubing bender.

You'll shoot your eye out. If you can put a fitting in it, replace it with a hydraulic hose.
