Rotary cutter blade straightening

My 6'rotary cutter, I have no idea what brand, has 27 1/ long by 4 wide blades on it. I can't seem to locate any that are 4wide and they are about 1/2 thick (don't remember the thickness for sure) has one blade bent down to the point where it hits the ground. Question is can I put it in my press and straighten it? I don't think I'll have to apply heat with a 50 ton press but I might. It's bent at the 2nd bend from the mounting point. Wondering if it would be ok to give it a try. I usually don't mow brush only some briars and tall weeds. Thanks for your thoughts in advance, Keith

You might be able to do that in the press but it could also be a weak spot and then in turn have the blade break and go flying and land who knows where. Years ago I had a brush hog blade and I never did find where it flew off to but I know it could have cost me a lot of $$$ if it had hit say a tire or animal or build

Yep, that's my concern too. I think I have found the blades I need, bush Hog has the size so I'll just get a set of them. Thanks Old I appreciate you affirming what I thought. Keith
