Does anyone know the size of a standard quick attach for tractors and what is the standard size of a quick attach plate that welds to implements?
I'm putting a quick attach on my tractor getting ready to order hitch and want to get correct one so I can get the correct plate to weld to my bucket and grapple ans hay spear. It's not really clear looks like the are 2 sizes of quick attach and I want to get it right.I can't afford
quick attach from a dealer $1,300 for the hitch and $400 for the 1/2 bracket that welds to bucket and 1/2 adapter plate for grapple $ 350 for brackets for implements.I can cut the prices over half on hitch by reusing the brackets on the hitch and having local weld shop make plates.
Any advice or input would would really be appreciated.
Thanks Joe C

I don't think the category of his three-point hitch matters much for loader attachments.

Joe, I'm not following you. Are you buying anything or trying to build it all? If you are buying the attaching brackets that go on your loader arms, you should know what plate, which needs to be put on each to each attachment, they match. The dealer you buy them from should be able to tell you. There are several different types and sizes of attaching systems.

I think you are asking about the Bobtach, universal, quick tach, SSQA.
