I am putting a quick attach on my loader I found factory kits but there are over $1,000. I found a couple of adapter quick attach for around $450 I can cut my hinges off and weld on plus I will have to weld adapter to my bucket.Has anyone ever done this before ? any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks Joe C

I have the quick attach on my little Massey. I think its the best thing to happen to tractors since the 3 PT lift. All tractors with loader should have one.

I bought a loader tractor with a Horst QA on it. It only had one bucket with it. I went and got some steel and made an identical QA on my other loader, then reworked my other buckets, bale spear and grapple to work with it. Only trouble I had was that the steel in the original QA was stiffer than the stuff I bought to make the one on the other loader. I've had to straighten, weld and reinforce that one a few times. No problem with any of the adapters I made for the attachments.

I have built skid steer style adapter for my Ford 7210 loader. I helps to have an example like my Bobcat to take measurements from. You can buy some parts now that will make it easy for you to complete. I will try to attach a link to some examples.

Here are a few pictures of mine.

Thanks guys for info on quick attach. I found a quick hitch like the one on your ford , I just got to cut my brackets off my bucket and weld on.I don't know anything about skid steer plates but I been told just order a at least 1/2 inch thick to weld on to your bucket. I guess that they are all the same. Can anyone verify that all skid steer plates are all the same ?
Thanks Everyone Joe
