Hello new here. I just got a TE-20 and am a bit confused which starter to buy. I have seen them with the long business end and a short one. The one in there now is the short one and the bendix is bad but I think the guy before me put in the wrong one. Would the short one still start the tractor for a while before it chews on the ring gear? Is there a measurement from the case to the ring gear to tell me witch one to buy? Thanks for your help.
