Massey 202 front mounted Hydraulics

New pump, that did work, but due to issues with the previous owners plumbing and mounting abilities, I took it off.
Did all the replumbing, he had the canister type filter plumbed in on the suction side, which I did reinstall.
The problem is the keyway in the shaft that runs through the front axle pivot, it is very sloppy.
So the question I have is, how do you get that shaft out to either repair or replace it. It says something about a lefthand thread, in one manual, but does not go into any other details about it.
Thanks

It's left handed thread. WELD a nut to
another piece of shaft, and use an impact
gun. I think this site has the new shaft.
The are definitely available. You may have
to do a little grinding on the new shaft
to keep it from rubbing. Keep an eye on it
when you install the new shaft.

Thanks Stan
I am hoping that this is the left hand thread, as I think that would be the easiest to get out. But it seems they had different parts on the same tractors for some unknown reason.

I believe that the difference is the
coupling end. Mine rubbed on the pivot
bearing. I ground the coupling a bit to
eliminate the interference. The threaded
end has to be left handed, something like
3/4- 10.

I happened to find an old shaft about 2 ft long with key, and tried that with pipe wrench. After getting a large screw driver and jamming the pulley to stop engine from turning, and a cheater pipe, on pipe wrench, she broke free and unscrewed fine.
Keyway wollowed out, key is worn, and the shaft has been wearing on inside of the pivot. Have a line on another one, but if I can't find one I think I can get this one fixed with a bit of weld and elbow grease, along with a new key.
Thanks again
