So I decided to scrap the old rusty gas tank from my newly acquired Ford 601 and as I started to order the tank I realized that I need a 1/4" metal fuel line and not the makeshift combination of rubber hose and sections of the old original fuel line. So I ordered the fuel line. The one that has a straight section then a big U section with what looks like 3/8" fittings on the ends. (Part No.NCA9282B). I also ordered the sending unit and the gasket. Now after looking at the old tank and seeing that someone changed the fittings where the fuel lime connects to the tank I realize that I have to order a Fuel Shut Off Valve also. (Part No. 311292WOR). Wish I would have know before to avoid extra shipping charges.
Well, I believe that I have it all now. The tank, 1/4" fuel line, fuel shut off valve, sending unit and sending unit gasket. If anyone knows of anything that I would need or any suggestions please don't hesitate to speak up. I would appreciate the help. I'm kind of feeling my way through this.
Thanks, RCA
