I need to replace my brake lines and fittings on a JCB backhoe. They are British Standard nat pipe threads. anyone seen a online site that sells them? Thks

Hi They are generally Just called BSP( British standard Pipe, with tapered looking threads ) or BSPP (British standard Parallel pipe, straight looking
threads) if that's what jcb used for those lines. The national is the common north american pipe thread it has a different thread pitch, and you are
confusing the 2 from what you wrote.

I have a JCB 3d here in Canada all the hyd lines are the parallel fittings, I don't know if they use the same for the brake lines though.. I just
googled BSP brake fittings and online guys came up with them in the U'K and other places. You could try ebay to or a good parts store/ hydraulic
supply company. In Canada they can be a hard thing to find, my local hydraulic shop doesn't carry many bsp fittings if a hose or 2 bursts. they only
carry 2 straights and 2 90 elbows. If I need more I have to hunt more stores and hope or wait a week !.
Regards Robert

If my memory is correct, LOL, Ford Backhoes used the same thread, you might check with a Ford dealer. Another option would be to change threads with adapters from "DISCOUNTHYDRAULICHOSE.COM ."
