Having finally extracted the PTO from the pilot bearing while splitting my tractor is there anything I should check/be aware of? The PTO shaft turns easily, it rotates almost one revolution either direction then stops. Is this normal? Is the hydraulic pump what I'm feeling? I worry about something not being as it should be after the shaft was pulled out over five inches and then pushed back during the split.
