What's this noise?

Well, i have a chattering/knocking noise when the clutch is released, sounds toward the front of transmission, but not quite sure. It will
stop with clutch is fully down, if you let it up slow it sometime will not make the noise, but most time it does.if it's not making the
noise it will stay quiet unless you press into the PTO cluch area of the peddle and release again. Sounds confusing is why I tried to load a
video. Any ideas on this one, thanks. Oh, clutch is strong, no slipping and I checked inside filter, looked like new.

A bad input shaft bearing will make a lot of noise when the clutch is out and will stop when clutch is in.

Ok, thanks, can that be replaced without pulling the shaft?

On my 8'n I had to split the tractor 3 ways to get the transmission out then pull the shaft assembly. After replacing the bearings and reassembling the trany. I had to check the shaft rotational torque / the book. My experience is limited to that one time with an 8'n so I can't give more info. BTW. you should mention what you are working on you will get more help from the great folks here.

Thanks, it's a Massey Ferguson 135 4 cylinder gas, 3 speed with high and low transmission , and a dual stage clutch, sorry I didn't post this at the beginning, I did try to add a video but somehow it just didn't work so I just added in the noise problem.

houldnt it make the noise every time the clutch is let out if it was an input bearing ?, sometimes mine will not make the noise and sometime it does. Depends on how fast you let it up. If you ease it up very slow , it don't make the noise. If it don't make the noise, I can drive around with out the noise, even changing gear etc without noise, but if I push the peddle down into the pto stage and relieve fast it will make the noise, 135 MF
I wonder if the pto clutch plate is vibrating , the release bearing don't seem to be bad , but I don't know.
Thanks for looking!

(quoted from post at 18:41:06 02/26/18) What is this noise coming from? See video[/https://www.amazon.com/photos/share/DLIgs4FY18uHRxTLWfpAUjspOLmHRgPvtyL4zNihuv8

See if this works, short video. May not.

Don't think this video is going to work,
Wonder if it could be a damage pto clutch plate, it only has 87 hrs sense it was replaced. (I was told), Puzzles me sometime it don't make the noise, a bearing would keep making the noise looks like all the time if it's bad. Thanks for feed back.
