Swapping Levers on Crimped AC Delco Carbs?

Is it possible to swap the levers on two AC Delco Crimped fuel pumps? Being crimped they are not designed to rebuilt. The rocker arm shaft holes appear to have brass seal plugs covering them. Wondering how to get access to the shaft so I could remove it and install the other lever.

Never tried, but if it appears all that holds the pin in are the plugs, you could drill one plug just big enough to get a punch through, drive the pin out, which would push out the other plug.

Then do the same to the other pump, change the lever. That would give a good plug to put back in the good pump.

If..... The lever will come out that way.

Thanks! I am going to give it a try.

Before drilling any holes, maybe try driving one plug in just enough to push the other plug out. Then you can see if you need to keep pushing the remaining plug so it falls out via the lever hole. Or push it back out it's own hole.
