Hello guys , just wondering if any body can help me find bearings and spools for this disc 55 to 61 i believe and or switch over to some new way to change over to different bearings . I cannot find any old bearings at all .The shaft is an inch and an eigth thick . Well thanks any help at all would be great

That is actually a round bore. Tube goes over the square.

That IH disk was avaible witheither white iron bearings that was the spool and 2 bearing halves or a seeled bearing (don't know if ball or roller) that had no grease fittings and the spool was two seperate sections for against the seeled bearing. I would guess the whit iron mearing is not avaible but would think the newer greasless seeled bearing and parts would be. The holders for the sealed bearings should be a universal item. And if you cannot get the spool pieces for the sealed bearings should be able to take the spool from the white iron mearing and cut center out and use it. I don't have my disk anymore but I have several operators manuals for that disk.

I replaced a bunch of parts on my 37 a few years ago; discs, bearings, spools. My notes show I used bearing p/n ST-491A. I remember the spools I
bought were about a 1/4" too long so I took them to a neighbor to mill them down to the correct length. Best 400.00 disc I ever bought! Send me an
email and I'll forward you the notes I took during the rebuild. It has comments and links from others that have repaired their 37's and you may
find it helpful.

Check with "Roys Red Iron" he is good to deal with and has a lot of old nos disk parts
