Hey guys my dad has an old reo car, one carb has been sitting 20 years and has had gas in it, the other has a bent float. They are schebler s-3 carbs. Anyone know who we could contact to get them rebuilt, thanks!

Have you opened them up and looked inside?

They may be better than you expect.

The old carbs were simple, designed to be field serviceable. Main thing, don't loose or break anything!

Once disassembled, there are ways to clean them up, boiling in vinegar and water, soaking in hot Purple Power, oven cleaner. Passages can be poked out with thin wire, like wire from a wire brush, flushed with carb spray, blown out.

Gaskets can be made, most other parts are probably reusable.

Carb rebuilders are not magicians, they do the same things you can do, they just take longer and charge more!

To add to what Steve said, many parts for OLD carbs are available from places like:

And a number of others.
