Can anyone recommend a product I can spray or apply to partially removed paint to inhibit rusting? As I'm restoring this tractor I had removed most of the paint from the final drives and transmission as I rebuilt them. Now the condensation from warm/cold days is giving me trouble. I'm still a few months away for painting.

I use and would use epoxy primer if you are down to bare metal. Most primers will still get moisture under them pretty quickly if left in primer alone.

If you have bare metal and are not going to be painting for awhile, Picklex 20 is a great product. You can wipe it on or spray it on and wipe off the excess and it will prevent rust. No need to clean it off before painting, just do your normal prep. You will need to keep the parts inside out of the moisture. I have some bare metal 800 series fenders that have been hanging in my shop for 5 years and no rust. The stuff works very well. It is a little spendy, but a little goes a very long way. Hope this helps.
