Preheater fuel line thread size/type

Hi
I have an IH model x84 - not sure if it is an 5,6 or 784.
The fuelline for the preheater is broken and I want to make a smarter system instead of the existing with a hose and a cutting ring aso. as I can not get it reasembled.
To make this work I need other fittings but can any of you tell me the thread type and perhaps the size?
It is the line going from a joint to the preheater and it sits on top of the fuel pump.
Hope you can help.
Best regards
Uffe

You say it is broken. That implies that the fittings are still there. If you can't tell what they are by looking at them, just take them to your hardware store and match them up.

Yes the hose has gone stiff and I will not be able to shorten it and use it again.
We do not have the same well assorted hardware stores in Denmark so I hoppede to find fittings online if any knew the size.
Normal threads in Denmark are metric and BSPP but the thread in the fuelline is tappered and other type I think?
