Advice needed on substitute fuel filter (Ford 640)

I"ve finally had enough of messing with the leaking of this glass bowl fuel filter on my Ford 640. Anyone who has replaced theirs with something, please let me know what it is. I can come up with something, but I thought some of you might have already replaced yours and would know the best way to do it.

I've never had any problem with that set up on my 841. Yes you need to have the correct parts in the correct places and also the correct sediment bowl gasket and have a good assembly. Something as simple as a piece of old gasket or a rough spot where the gasket goes can and will let it leak

I have agree with OLD, I never had a problem with that system. You need good gaskets and a clean surface.
