How repair a sticking brake?

The 2010 brakes are easy to tear apart to see whats going on. Unhook the yoke and return spring, remove the 3 blots holding the brake assembly to the case and the whole thing should slide off the shaft.. The center portion is held together by 2 springs. Inside are 3 balls that ride up inclined ramps that spread out the assembly putting pressure on the disks. The links that pull the sides are probably rusted on the pins and not allowing free movement or the springs have rusted off and are not returning the plates. The 2010 brake system was never all that great.
