Faulty LOW-BEAM male connector replacement, drivers side:

Passenger side LOW-BEAM male connector replaced as found to be ready for the Garbage bin.

I retired in my fortieth year as a Power Engineer specialising in Aero Derivative Gas Turbines. Never were there the challenges like working on a modern vehicle! Absolutely nothing is user friendly!

Two problems.

Too much crap jammed into too little space!

Everything has to be miniaturized to make it fit, and cut costs!

No doubt they make it hard for owners to do any work beyond an oil change. My 2002 Dodge truck had the cat 02 sensor bung welded to the exhaust pipe on TOP so you couldn't even get a wrench on it. You had to remove the whole f%$&#@! Y pipe in front of it and the cat as well to, get to it. So like Stephen said ... anything to get you into the dealer. So now -- they have decided to make changing the oil a pain in the @$$. On wife's Town & Country, there is a new cartridge type oil filter that in order to get it off -- you have to take the air snorkel off. And even if your as careful as you can be (as I found out last week) there is a tiny plastic bypass valve that will break and the spring will fly out! To replace it Chrysler makes you spend over $200 for the whole filter housing assembly. Tell me that is not intentional. geez

I'm sure no Fiat/Chry/Dodge fan, but when & if you find a user friendly car design, be sure & let the world know, because it will be a first!
