Vintage grinding stone seat bench

My 95 year old father is hoping to get some plans or dimensions of an old treadle grinding stone seat. He has my grandfathers grinding stone and bracket. He has purchased pillow blocks and has an idea of how to make the frame and seat. The hardest part is how to make the treadle work. We found some posts from 2003 in this forum but they are too old to access.
Anyone have some thoughts on this restoration project?

Go to your local agricultural fair (this is fair season) and go into the farm-farmstead museum and take pics of the different styles.

I bet about any local museum would have one.

My step grandfather used one till 1988. That's when he took out
his social security at age 75. Went straight to Wheelers and
bought his first and only electric bench grinder. I now have his
grinder. My uncle hauled the big treedal wheel to Colorado for
yard art.

I've an old one up in my granary, where are you? I can sure shoot some pics if still needed. My email is open, so respond there. Larry in MN
