4020 suitcase weight bracket

I would suspect there is. We had the slab weights on our 4320, but have a suitcase weight bracket on the 6030. The JD bracket on the 6030 is a heavy plate steel type, rather than cast iron. This bracket came off a 4630 and is sized to hold 10 suitcase weights. If you are not concerned about "correctness," I am sure you can find another make of suitcase weights and attachment bracket. We had a set of IH suitcase weights and the IH weight bracket we "re-manufactured" in our farm shop. This bracket was used on a 1955 Oliver, and then a 4440 John Deere. Lastly it ended up on a family member's 5288 IH tractor. I do recall it was a matter of cutting some heavy plate steel to fill in the gap in the back of the bracket, since the bracket was also a heavy, plate steel. We then drilled holes in that plate steel to fit the front end casting of the two non-IH tractors the bracket was bolted to. As I recall, the original holes were spaced out wider for mounting to an IH tractor, versus the other two tractors. You could probably make some sort "adaptor" bracket/plate to fit a John Deere mounting bracket or other brand of mounting bracket, too.

I think the bracket off a 30 series will bolt up. We had them on a 4020. Your talking about loader in your other post, and the loader will not fit on if you have weights.
