I recently purchased a 1965 Massey Ferguson 135. I have the common clutch issue having to turn the tractor off to engage the PTO. I know I will have to try adjusting the 3 bolts on the clutch after removing the inspection cover. My question is about the clutch pedal adjustment. Currently there is a good 2 inches of play before I can feel any resistance. Ive adjusted it to the 3/4in specified in other discussions but after using the clutch 1 or 2 times it reverts back to the 2 inches of play. Do I need to purchase a new pedal or is there something else causing the pedal not to stay adjusted? Thanks
