What fluids (90 WT Gear oil Im assuming) and how much? I took the drain plug that I figure to be the plug for the transmissiona and rear end fluids and about a quart of water came out. The drain plug is under the body towards the back closer to the left rear tire. Blew me away when water came out. No gear oil or anything else. Just water. What the heck?

The JD forum has more 430 experts over there . A yellow metal friendly GL-4 or yellow metal friendly GL-5 is fine in the trans and finals . Hydraulics if equipped with SCV’s should be hy-gard.
Any 15-40 Diesel motor oil will do in the motor and air cleaner .
Real service and operator manuals from Deere are worth thier price.1-800-522-7448. The parts book is on the JD web site . Free advice on the internet is worth what was paid for it .

On my 420 each of the final drives are filled separately from the transmission. I learned that the hard way when the left one locked up. All it
had was water in it. The fill plugs are in the back of the housing.
