I was mowing the field with the brush hog and the engine started knocking. I emeatel shut it down. I dropped the oil pan and found that the crank shaft broke. I ordered a complete rebuild kit. Got anothther crankshaft and completely rebuilt the engine. After starting it I have coolent coming out of the head gasket and the rad. Any suggestions??

To have coolant come out of the radiator it would mean you have compression leaking from a cylinder into the water jacket some where. With it coming out between the block and head at the same time would suggest to me that it could be one of several things. Not being torqued properly, Head gasket placed on upside down, Wrong head gasket, Sleeves not installed properly. One or more sleeves high enough to keep the proper pressure on the gasket on the lower sleeve.

is there a different head gasket if you have a water pump?

My Farmall 200 did the same thing. Crank broke, bent two rods, messed up bearings. Had to do a major rebuild. New crank, rods, sleeves and pistons as well as a multitude of other parts.

Is there a difference in the torque on the cylinder head between a (C) and a super C. My book calls for 65 ft lb but don't distinguish between the two.
