Ford 3600, 1978, diesel, rear axle leak

I have a 1978 Ford 3600, diesel. I recently drained the rear transmission, and refilled it to the level plug. There is a little plug below the level plug that has a flathead screw on the end, and it is leaking out of that. It isn't a big leak, but it is leaking consistently/constantly.

I don't know what this screw is for, and how it should be adjusted. The manuals that I have don't describe it. It is located by the 'arrow' in the attached picture. It is just below the rear level plug.

Any ideas?

humor the leak, that screw holds the hydraulic strainer/pickup tube in place.
Wait to whatever time you have the lift top off and then deal with it. Then if the tube falls you can get to it.
I have seen people get lucky, but tractor is useless until repaired if it doesn't go your way. Not my kinda odds!

see drawing below
#69 is the screw
#54 is the pipe
#58 is the nut

Interesting. I tried to tighten the screw and see if it works. I lost about 1/2 a cup of oil in one day, so I will likely have to deal with it. It looks like the seal would need replacing and the gasket under the top plate, and just make sure that the screw is connected.

Seems like a goofy design to have a screw hold that all together, but what do I know. I never would have found that reference on my own, so thank you very much!
